The Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give is coming up in a couple week, but what about the people who aren't fans of golf? Don't worry, people can come out and support the fundraiser by enjoying the spread of food at The Grand Taste and the Grand Taste Garden, featuring the best restaurants, breweries, and Meijer food Michigan has to offer.

The residents of Fremont now have a Meijer Supercenter for shopping.

Meijer on Tuesday announced home delivery service in the Cleveland area. The news comes a week after the opening of Meijer’s three new supercenters  in Avon, Mentor and Stow.

The LPGA Tour took a pretty hefty leap of faith in committing to suburban Grand Rapids in 2014, marking the first major professional golf-tour stop in the state since the PGA Tour's Buick Open folded up shop in 2009. And it's been quite the success, with record attendance of around 55,000 last year, and hoping to top it again when the world's best female golfers tee it up at Blythefield Country Club in Belmont from June 13-16.

The Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give isn't just a way to watch some of the top female golfers in the world, it's an event that helps restock shelves of food pantries across the Midwest.

Meijer marked its entrance into the Northeast Ohio market by opening three stores across the region, and making donations to several community organizations and schools.

Meijer Store Director Jessica Daniels-Warner presents Escanaba St. Vincent de Paul Pantry Manager Barbara Van Ermen with a donation of $5,000 in gift cards at the Escanaba Meijer store. The gift cards will be used by the pantry staff to purchase items for those in need in the area. According to Daniels-Warner, Escanaba St. Vincent de Paul is the heart of the community. Meijer wanted to give back to show its appreciation to the community.

It is a partnership aimed at keeping families fed here in the Wabash Valley. Catholic Charities and Meijer have announced a continued effort to fight hunger. It is part of the 'Simply Give' campaign.

Meijer continues making bets on bricks-and-mortar retail in Ohio with the opening Tuesday morning of supercenters in Stow and two other Northeast Ohio communities.

Meijer has opened up a new express convenience store -- but best of all, there's free ice cream. The convenience store concept is in front of Meijer's Knapp’s Corner supercenter. It officially opening Friday, May 10.
