The Antwerp Police Department just received a donation of heavy coats and gloves for the officers on duty to keep warm in the frigid temperatures offered by the northwest Ohio winters! Meijer on Illinois Road is the donator with Allie Fillmore who works as Asset Protection Team Leader, and Pam Smith (Owns Smith Acres Bucking Bulls) who works as the Lines Leader at the same store. They petitioned store for the donation and the request was granted.

Members of the the Alpena Snowdrifters Snowmobile Club are shown making their yearly donation to the food pantry at St. Vincent de Paul. In past years, turkeys were donated for families though club member donations, but with the generously of Meijer, all dollars given are tripled, so this year’s donation of $545 helped the pantry to the tune of $1613.
