Tailgating doesn't just happen, it takes a lot of planning, prep, and organization. Fortunately, Meijer has all your tailgating essentials whether you're rooting for the Lions, Michigan State, University of Michigan, or your local high school.

There will be continued donations in the Midwest, courtesy of one sporting event. Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give renewed its agreement with the LPGA and Blythefield Country Club through 2021. The agreement allows for donations from the tournament to go toward stocking shelves of food pantries across the Midwest.

Family-owned Meijer has been focused on meeting the needs of other families for 85 years. This commitment is now the subject of the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based retailer’s newest TV commercial series spotlighting its Simply Give program that helps feed hungry families.

Love in Action (LIA) will be able to feed thousands of hungry families in the Tri-Cities thanks to a gift from Meijer and its customers who participated in the retailer’s spring Simply Give food donation program.

After much anticipation, Bridge Street Market opened Aug. 29, 2018. Now, one year later, there will be an anniversary celebration at the store on Grand Rapids’ West Side.
