Meijer has announced the opening date for its new store near Fremont. A ribbon-cutting will be held May 21 to mark the opening of the store on S. Green Avenue north of W. 48th Street, just west of Fremont. There will also be a grand opening celebration with special deals and events starting May 26.

Volunteer registration is now open to help out at the 2019 Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give, which will be held June 11-16, at Blythefield Country Club. The Meijer LPGA Classic needs the help of more than 900 volunteers to fill roles on different committees, ranging from marshals and standard bearers to transportation and assisting inside the media center.

Fred Meijer, a man who helped build his family business into a chain of highly successful Midwest grocery stores, placed his priorities on more than just profits. Meijer was fond of saying he wasn’t interested in having the family name on a store that wasn’t also part of the community where it had established roots. Throughout the past year, Bradley and the surrounding region has discovered that is more than just idle chatter.

Meijer has announced the opening date for three supercenters slated to open in Northeast Ohio. The three Meijer stores in Avon, Mentor, and Stow are expected to open on Tuesday, May 14. “We’re extremely excited to open the doors to our newest stores here in Northeast Ohio,” said Tom Wilson, Regional Vice President, Meijer.
